Stan Lee and Hero Initiative Signing Event

The Stan "Meet and Greet" was set for 9:15 am on Saturday, but was bumped back to noon.  None of our attendees even flinched at this change, all were simply happy to be there.  So the plans were re-set to meet by the "green room" at 11:30 am.  Kevin Brogan manned the staircase and was the one to get the details, which summed up to us waiting until about 1:15 pm as Stan needed a rest and some lunch.  Again the people were great and we all simply shifted our schedules accordingly. 

As the group re-entered the room Stan was up and chatting immediately, cracking jokes and letting the sarcasm fly.  We had already set up the other to the signatures and all our people had their merch ready to go, so we were off! 

Mr. Brogan did a great job wrangling the winners and making the line flow well.  Each person got to meet Stan, had a photo taken with him and chatted while having their items signed.  Stan was in a great mood, keeping the room laughing the entire time.  What was additionally nice was that each person had a more personal moment with "The Man".  Whether they gave him a gift, showed him their own artwork or simply had the chance to thank him for contributing so positively to their lives, each person in the room had a perma-grin on their face.

Stan wrapped up, his people ushered him out of the room and all were left somewhat stunned, trying to believe that they really had just met their hero.  It was a great experience to be a part of.
