Monster Bash Convention 2010! Get ready to Bash in 2010 with all your classic monster friends! Please note that this is a family show with kids under 12 admitted FREE with adult.
This year's Conference is a 1950s celebration of of Martians, Monsters and Movies!

11:00AM - 16mm FILM: MONSTERS WE'VE KNOWN AND LOVED. It's our traditional opening short film. A documentary produced back in 1964. A look at the classics from the early days through the eyes of 1964. Narrated by Joseph Cotten. Introduced by Ron Adams.
11:30AM - THE WITCH'S DUNGEON INTERVIEWS: Cortlandt Hull and Dennis Vincent introduce video interviews with some of the great horror stars and make-up pesonalities. More from their forthcoming DVD!
12:00 Noon - CREEPY CLIFFHANGER - FLASH GORDON'S TRIP TO MARS (1938). A chapter from the least seen of the Flash Gordon serials. Writer Leonard Kohl, who's done much research on Buster Crabbe, discusses the backround on this classic serial chapter.
12:30PM - MOVIE: THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF K. GORDON MURRAY - The Documentary. Introduced by producer Daniel Griffith. K. Gordon Murray was the American importor of some of the weirdest, wildest Saturday Matinee features to ever grace the silver screen....monsters to twisted fairy tales! Finally, the great documentary in its entirity here at Bash!
3:00PM - MOVIE: HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN (2009). Starring Monster Bash alumni Ron Chaney (Lon's grandson!) and Michael Thomas as Dracula. The most talked about old-new movie. Shot in blck and white and featuring all your favorite monsters. You will not want to miss this.
5:00PM - Q & A SESSION - George "The Animal" Steele. George was, of course, the well known wrestler, and was featured in Tim Burton's film ED WOOD as Tor Johnson! Moderated by Ron Adams.
5:30 PM - MOVIE: THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (1951) A space ship lands in Washington. It's piliot (Michael Rennie) comes with important messages from other worlds, but is treated with suspicion and hate. He's forced to go on the run and befriends a young boy (Billy Gray). Then, there's Gort the robot to contend with. "Klaatu barada nikto."
7:00PM - Q & A SESSION - Billy Gray. Moderated by Ron Adams.
8:00 PM - MOVIE: EARTH VS. THE SPIDER (1958) In this Bert I. Gordon film you'll see Rock & Roll revive the giant spider in a High School gym! Introduced by Bert I. Gordon.
9:30PM - THE 50's SCI-FI SOCK HOP: Oldies radio station "The Valley" opens with your favorite 1950s classic hits ever spun on a platter. Then, it's Mark Statler and His Creepy Classic Chiller Band for live 1950s monster rock and roll.
11:30PM - MEXICAN MONSTER NIGHT: THE CASTLE OF THE MONSTERS (1957). A monster comedy...with the comedian being tormented by all the classic ghouls: The Vampire, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy, and The Creature. Insane goofiness that will scare you silly. Introduced by your Mexican Monster Night host, author Roberto Cotter. Then, live translation into English by Pat Gonzalez and John Santiago. Free tacos and burritos (while they last).
1:00AM BASH LATE NIGHT with 411Mania Movie Reviewer Leonard Hayhurt: THE DAY MARS INVADED EARTH (1963). A real treat! This seldom seen film features a story not-unlike INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, and just as horrifying. Good acting, good script, and a truly frightening little fim. You need to see this.

10:30AM - MONSTER BASH "NOT SO" FORGOTTEN FILM SERIES: THIS ISLAND EARTH (1954). The Metaluna Mutant and the vivid colors from another world are here! Background and information by Universal Historian Richard Scrivani.
12:00Noon - 16mm PROGRAM: SATURDAY STOOGE MATINEE. Cleveland TV Horror Host SON OF GHOUL runs amok with his Stooge show!
1:00PM - GHOUL A GO-GO (Retro TV...today!) Stars Vlad and Creighton...and The Invisible Man! It's a kid's TV show in black and white that looks like a cross between American Band Stand, Captain Kangaroo and The Addams Family. Twist to twisted fun with your favorite Ghoul A Go-Go personalities. Bring the kids to this inter-active eerie event as they present they're latest show!
2:00PM - MONSTER BRAIN BRAINTWISTER QUIZ SHOW with your host Tom Weaver. Win DVDs and other cool prizes in this live quiz show about 1950s sci-fi movies!
3:00PM - Q & A SESSION: Julie Adams star of CREAURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and more. Moderated by Bob Pellegrino.
3:30PM - PRESENTATION: STAN GORDON - REAL UFOs AND ALIENS IN OUR BACKYARD: World re-knowned UFO expert Stan Gordon presents a show on real UFO, alien and Bigfoot sightings. Stan is best known as being THE WORLD EXPERT n the Kecksburg, PA UFO crash. Next to the Roswell incident, this is the best documented crashes of a UFO and UFO cover-up in history back in the 1960s. Get ready, the invasion has already begun.
5:00 PM - MOVIE: THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953). The classic invasion film starring Ann Robinson! Can earth survive it again?

7:30PM - BASH SPECIAL: LET THEM EAT CAKE! Guest of Honor Reception & Giant Saucer-sized Sheet Cakes will be set up and served in the lobby, free to all Bash attendees! Grab your cake and head for the rear parking lot to watch ABBOTT & COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN on the big outdoor screen!
8:30PM - MONSTER BASH COMEDY: DON REESE. The man with the big heart and outrageous sense of humor, twisted into the world of monster movie fans. If you've never heard Don before...for heaven's sake, don't miss this.
OUTDOOR SATURDAY NIGHT BEGINS
9:00PM - OUTDOOR 16mm FILM: THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD (1951). Drive-in style. We will show the film in the back parking lot. You will need to have your car facing the woods in the back of the hotel. If you won't have a vehicle, bring some "Off bug repellent, " a blanket and your portable FM radio. We'll broadcast the audio on an FM frequency for cars and on a PA system too. Special thanks to Drive-In historian Mark Bialek and projectionist Geoffrey Curtis for making this happen.
