Gaming Arts Media Expo, also known as G.A.M.E., is a 3-day event that embraces all things geeky or on the fringe of mainstream culture.
Our goal is to create an event that expands beyond the typical sci-fi & fantasy convention. Activities will include the expected variety of role-playing games, video games, live-action battles, tactical miniatures, board games, trading card games, animé theater, historical re-enactments and dealers' area.
To broaden the types of activities and interest at G.A.M.E. we will also have panel discussions for podcasters, game designers, digital artists, development sessions for aspiring writers, promotions for local art activities, and more.
As our goal is to have an event with a variety of interest represented, G.A.M.E. will attract a wide demographic of people. One thing they will all have in common is their dedication to their interest. They spend their time and money to improve their skills, equipment, resources and understanding.
They typically drive several hours to attend similar conventions, stay overnight in local hotels, attend hour upon hour of activities, and cram as much fun into one weekend as others do in one month. Demographics of a similar convention show our intended target audience are typically male (60%), range in age from 18 - 34 years old (30%) and 35 - 49 years old (40%), have children 6 - 17 years old (30%), and range in income from less than $30K (25%) to over $100K (30%).
G.A.M.E. will be an opportunity for attendees to socialize, experiment, learn and acquire. Attendees will be able to play games with each other, learn about new products, seek out collectible merchandise, make new friends and contacts, develop existing skills and absorb new ones, and generally have a good time and make memories.
We will have a full schedule of events, as well open activities, like the dealers area and open gaming. Our schedule will be posted to the website soon, and will be constantly updated until the doors open on October 16th
Thank You!
