AnimeNEXT December Updates

12/22/2009 // AnimeNEXT

* First AnimeNEXT Pre-Registration Deadline

The first pre-registration deadline for the 2010 convention is fast approaching. The first deadline is January 1, 2010. After that date the price to register for AnimeNEXT 2010 goes up. So now is the time to take advantage of the lowest price available to attend AnimeNEXT. The price right now is $37.50 for adults and $27.50 for children ages 7 to 12. The price goes up to $42.50 for adults and $32.50 for children after January 1, 2010.

Remember to take advantage of the lowest price available while you can. Please follow this link, http://www.animenext.org/registration to register now.

* Web Comics Guest announced

Chris Malone will be joining us at AnimeNEXT 2010. Chris is the creator of the wildly popular web comic Blue and Blond.

Chris "Kilika" Malone is a humble surfer from the east coast. He's been cartooning ever since he was a wee little grommit, and started focusing on drawing surfing comics back in 2002, eventually starting Blue and Blond in 2003. Unlike the characters in his comic, Kilika grew up in northern Virginia, but he's been surfing on the Jersey Shore long before he started cartooning. One of the few comics about surfing, Kilika wants to share the surfing lifestyle and experience with everyone, especially those who couldn't tell a surfboard from a kickboard. He prefers long boards to short ones and hates jellyfish.

Chris will be sitting in on several panels at the 2010 convention, and who knows maybe you will see him and some other guests in the Artist Alley? You can check out Blue and Blond for yourself at http://www.blueandblond.com/

Keep your eyes peeled to http://www.animenext.org/guests for more guest announcements through out the year.
