SCREENING: Blood Simple
Join us Friday November 13th for a special screening of Blood Simple at the Lone Star Film Festival.
Some films just seem to have it all: sex, betrayal, murder, Austin, Texas, and M. Emmett Walsh as the meanest, toughest bastard you would ever not want to cross paths with. Joel and Ethan Coen’s first feature film won the Grand Jury Award at the 1985 Sundance Film Festival and it keeps looking better over time. For this “Director’s Cut,” the brothers have actually removed three minutes of footage. -Charles Dee Mitchell
This year's Lone Star Film Festival takes place November 11-15. Tickets and details are available here.
Texas Frightmare Weekend has 5 pairs of passes for the taking. Just email us (while supplies last of course) and they are all yours! Please include your full name in the email. Winners will have their passes waiting for them at the box office the night of the screening.
